ONE NATION UNDER GOD

Photo_082007_001

Four of my Honorable discharges.

America One Nation Under God we live
Think about all some had to give

We the people share freedom’s life
In a world of ever present strife

Be grateful to those who keep this true
Warriors of our red, white, and blue

They're trained by those of great skill
Honed to perform, so strong their will

They show what love is all about
They’ll fight for us, there is no doubt

Defending bravely what we are
No holding back each heartfelt star

Highly praise these men and women
Giving thanks time and again

Those in uniform will always be
The golden pride of this country.

PRAISE REPORT

Mother's Day 2009, me and Mary Grace

mary & me

My husband, was seen by a cardiologist that found his heart enlarged Then saw a specialist that said he needed a biventricular pacemaker with defibrillator. The pacemaker will help the two lower chambers of his heart, the ventricles that are not pumping in unison-needs to work together. A biventricular pacemaker helps the ventricles to contract more efficiently. (By the way, he is just 45 years old). The defibrillator is more than anything is just in case he needs it. He had this done last week. When he came out of surgery, it surprised me how great he looked. Mark had so much more color than before. Right now, he is still sore and unable to hold his left army up but otherwise is doing great. With the medicine and the pacemaker he has lost over 20 lbs, which was mainly fluid and his lungs are clearing up. It still going to be a long road but am so thankful this is working so well for him now. Right now, he is not able to work but hopefully the doctor will allow him to return to work doing mostly check and service calls with a helper (He is a Heating & Air Technician). Again, thank you for all your prayers and well wishes.

I am very excited because tonight my church will be showing a DVD they created of us performing the production, The Thorn. I never got to see this. That is probably the worse problem of being in a play. You have to understand we only got to see a few scenes in between our scenes. We will be given one DVD. I already have a lot of people that is wanting to borrow it. Take care! I can not believe I am going to say this---it is COLD!!! Only about 50 degrees where it has been in the 80’s. Love it.
